Fully irrigated 18-hole grass green course measuring 5193 metres with a Par of 68, a Scratch Rating of 67 and a Slope Rating of 112.
The course may appear small, however there is a mean streak hiding beneath the demure appearance with undulating fairways and greens with real break, you will need you’re “A” game to deliver.
Hole 1
A testing Par 4 with a very slight dog leg left with a green that slopes from back to front.
Hole 2
A Par 3 that requires an accurate tee shot into the green. Going to the right of the green is not advisable.
Hole 3
A good drive will open the green up on this Par 4. A wayward drive will leave you in the trees that line both sides of the fairway.
Hole 4
Another Par 4 with the second shot into a blind green. Accuracy is key off this tea with out of bounds down the left and tree’s lining both sides of the fairway.
Hole 5
An uphill Par 4 with the second shot into another blind green. Don’t go left on this hole if you want to make Par.
Hole 6
The first Par 5 on the course with a dog leg right. The shot to the green is to a blind two tiered green. The longer hitters will look at this hole as a definite birdie opportunity.
Hole 7
The first Par 5 on the course with a dog leg right. The shot to the green is to a blind two tiered green. The longer hitters will look at this hole as a definite birdie opportunity.
Hole 8
A Par 3 that requires an accurate tee shot into the green. Going to the right of the green is not advisable.
Hole 9
A downhill Par 4 to finish to a protected green. Be careful not drift left in to ‘Norm’s Tree’ off the tee. You may find the one and only bunker on the left side of the green.
Hole 10
Short uphill Par 4 with out of bounds down the right. The second shot is to a green that slopes from the back to the front.
Hole 11
An uphill Par 3 to a two tiered green. Check the sign for where the pin is positioned on the green.
Hole 12
A Par 4 with a dog leg to the right. The second shot will be testing into this exposed green.
Hole 13
A blind Par 4 which for the longer hitters is reachable – so wait for the bell to be sounded before teeing off. For those who don’t reach the green off the tee the second shot leaves a choice of either carrying the ball to the green or playing a links style running shot down the hill to the green. Beware of out of bounds down the left, along Links Road.
Hole 14
An uphill dog leg right Par 4. For the longer hitter the trick is not to go through the fairway. The second shot is to a green that has a steady gradient from back to front.
Hole 15
A downhill Par 3 to a green that is best described and an upside down saucer.
Hole 16
The shortest hole on the course to a green that has a severe slope from back to front. Leaving your ball under the pin is a wise decision!
Hole 17
A good drive will open the green up on this Par 4. A wayward drive will leave you in the trees that line both sides of the fairway.
Hole 18
The second Par 5 on the course with out of bounds down the right side. The longer hitters maybe able to reach the two tiered green that slopes from front to back, in two.
